there’s felt all over our kitchen table. red felt. yellow felt. blue felt. green felt. and there’s a big box of felt in our living room. black felt. grey felt. pink felt. brown felt. i ♥ felt.
i’m making a present for Miss Kirstie Rae. and guess what i’m using……f.e.l.t. of course. (it might take us awhile to get it out to you though darling…go stargazing at your mailbox in the next week or two i suppose. Miss Stephanie and you will be getting some grand surprises).
while thinking of Miss Kirstie Rae today, i thought of something i’d written a while ago.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
he knocked on the door. again. “are you coming?” he asked in an impatient tone. the door opened. she stood there in a little yellow dress, with her hair all done up, and pearls on her neck. “yes, i’m coming,” she replied curtly. “what in the world are you wearing?” he stuttered. “we’re just going stargazing.” she blushed a bit. “i know that.” she blushed even more. “but you never know who you might meet stargazing…”
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
i want to go stargazing with Miss Kirstie Rae.
but instead, i suppose i’ll send her little surprises in the mail.
i ♥ surprises.
(Miss Tandy made chocolate chip cookies today, and i got to eat some cookie dough and a cookie. it’s alright to feel jealous…)
there’s new wind chimes hanging outside. i adore the sound of wind chimes and my.little.clock and laughter and water-for-tea-boiling. but mostly wind chimes today.
