I wished for these while going underneath a yellow stop-light yesterday.
MAYBE I’LL GET LUCKY?

I’ve had shoes on my mind lately. (Mostly because of my Indoor PUMAS.) I’ve thought about how you can tell a lot about people from their footwear. And how important shoes are in stories. Shoes are so important in stories. O so important. I don’t mention them nearly enough in my writings. Bother. I’ll have to work on that.

Love.

Today was the first game of indoor soccer.
I HEART THE INDOOR CENTER.
We lost.
4-5.
Not too shabby.
I had no idea what I was doing.
It was sprucey though.
I can’t wait to play next Sunday(When I actually know what I’m doing).
I got new shoes today.
Indoor soccer cleats.
New shoes are like candy.
Or pie.
So good.
So sweet.
I’ve already worn them for 3 hours.
I almost want to sleep in them.
(♥ PUMAS).
Tomorrow is my Papa’s birthday.
And I will help make carrot cake.
And tell him I love him.
And waltz around in indoor shoes.
Think of that…celebrating my Daddy’s birthday in my indoor soccer cleats.
I LOVE it.
Love.

p.s. My indoor name is KOALA BEAR.
And I don’t know why.
We had some killer indoor practice last night. Our first game is on Sunday. THIS SUNDAY. I’m pretty darn excited if you can tell. I’m just not sure which shoes to wear. O dear. Shoes are so important. And I’m just not sure…

Dear shoes for indoor,
Where are you?

I was on ETSY this morning. Obsessing over Which.Goose(click it) and all the lovely hair dandies they make. I adore hair dandies. (I’ve been trying to figure out if they’ll let me wear something in my hair during indoor. It’s not like they can kick me out if I have a flower pinned in my hair…right?)
→
Dear indoor people,
Can I wear my hair things in the games?
Please?
The last one is my favourite.
→
Dear Which.Goose,
I kind of LOVE you.
We(Miss Tandy, Ria, and I) had a discussion yesterday of what we thought boys might think when you wear something in your hair. I mean, do you guys really like it? Or do you walk about in wonderment of why ever the little ladies love to spritz up their hair with pins and flowers and butterflies? Really though, what do you think of it?
→
Dear boys,
Do you like my hair things?

I THINK I’M TIRED OF UNO. JUST SAYING.
→
Dear UNO,
I hate you right now.
I think I will hide you.

John Keats is still written all over my head. I LOVE that man. There is no one like him. I was reading one of his letters the other day, and this is what it said:
“I am afraid to write to her— to receive a letter from her— to see her handwriting would break my heart— even to hear of her anyhow, to see her name written, would be more than I can bear…If I had any chance of recovery, this passion would kill me…” –To Charles Brown 1 November 1820 John Keats →↓
Now I’m off to figure out shoes, indoor rules concerning hair, KEATS, tie-dye later on, and breakfast.
Love.
